Stand on it!

Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026 · iPhone app by Anthony Pizzo

The short version. Stand on it! has no ads and no tracking. Signing in is optional. If you don't sign in, everything you save stays on your phone. If you do, the things you mark are backed up to your account, and hazards you choose to share are visible only to members of the communities you share them with. Your trip log and your live location are never uploaded to your account. Your location is sent to the map services listed below only to build routes and look things up.

What the app uses

What stays on your phone

Everything you save is stored on your device first. These are never uploaded, even when you're signed in:

If you sign in

Signing in is optional. When you're signed in, these are backed up to your account so they're on any phone you sign in on:

Only you can see your backed-up data. The exception is hazards you share with a community: approved members of that community can see the hazard, its note, and the name you entered for shared hazards. Hazards marked "Just me" are never shown to anyone else.

Communities. When you create a community or ask to join one, its owner and admins can see your name and email address so they can decide whether to accept you. Approved members can see each other's names. You can leave a community at any time, which removes the hazards you shared there.

Account data is stored with Supabase, which hosts the app's database and sign-in.

Deleting your data

In the app, go to Settings → Delete my account. This permanently deletes your account, everything backed up to it, every hazard you shared, and any community you created. You can also remove individual items at any time. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the phone.

Map services the app talks to
